How do u inflate it can of compressed air cig lighter compressor? I have seen some people have a pad in bottom of compartment for tire to sit is a vert suposed to have this? I know for sure i'm missing the extension and the wrench type thing what all and where do u need to store/change... mostly store... tire. a pic of jack mounted would be greatly app

Re: vert jack accesories and mounting
Here's a pic of mine from my '89 IrocZ vert. It's original and never been used . . .
The stock jack is a screw type scisssor jack mounted beside the tire. I believe the tire/jack iron is behind the wheel. It's been years since I've scene it. Would need to take a closer look for any details.

awesome you have been a great help, i know it's kinda a hassle to get that plastic on and off. i tried to get that canister from gm but they said the didn't have it.... yep i figured i had the wrong jack as i couldn't get it to fit. It's awesome that u still have that can of air. now i can see what i need and how it fits at least i have the "tire"

After 20 years, I wonder how good that can of air is? Not that I'd use it for snorkling in the pool!
I'm sure you can pick up tire inflator from just about any decent automotive store. Also a lot of places, stores, wreckers, etc, have similar jacks all over the place. Maybe even somebody here.

If the CO2 cylinder has not already been used, it should be OK. I carry a simple 12 volt air compressor as a back up. There are small ones available that will fit in with the tire and they have the capacity to inflate the space saver spares.

Re: vert jack accesories and mounting
I just traded for a 91 Z-28 and have been calling around to find a "can of air" for the spare. So far the auto parts stores either have no idea what I mean, or the old school good guys advise they don't have a source any longer. Anyone see a link for such an air canister I'd like to see it. I've had rotten luck with the cheap air compressors blowing lighter fuses.

You could try http://www.fixaflat.com. Then you'd have the option of either using it to pump up your spare or the actual flat tire.
I couldn't find any can inflators that used only propellants.
