Convertibles with 5 speeds
I'm doing a little research on my car and was wondering if people with 5spd cars would post a pic of their RPO sticker?

Re: Convertibles with 5 speeds
One thing to keep an eye on is the year of the SPID's you may see here. They don't really allow for a truly direct comparison, but still interesting one. The verts changed over the years. Things like RPO's G92 and J65 were dropped from the IrocZ verts in '89, etc.
PS; nice ride.

That's very kool! I didn't know you could ever have G92, 5 speed vert! Just for 87 and 88 I assume?
Anyone know how many 5 speeds were built in the years you could order G92 also?

Re: Convertibles with 5 speeds
I'm looking for some help... I've got a fairly low mileage completely stock black '92 Z28 with factory 305/5 speed. I know there were 1254 verts for '92 but is there any place to get a specific breakdown of these? I've seen a half dozen or so RS's and only a couple Z's with 5 speeds and was looking for more info. Thanks!

Re: Convertibles with 5 speeds
I'm not aware of a breakdown on how many 5 speeds were made per year, but most cars sold as autos.
Even if you used 30% as the amount of 5 speeds made (which I think would probably be a little high) you only had around 376 5 speed verts made in 92.

Compnine??? Tell me more! This is the first time I've heard of it. Although I've owned several 3rd gen Z28's this is the first time I've really looked into production data and joined an online forum so you'll have to bear with my ignorance...

Try this website it worked for our '92 'vert, but not our '84 Cavalier 'vert.

Re: Convertibles with 5 speeds
I just checked my vin on compnine. According to the site there is only one other Camaro that was produced with the same options. I don't know how that realistically affects its value but it's nice to know! Thanks for your help!
