I got this car about 2 years ago paid $1600.00 for it i think i did pretty good. Here is the car at the car lot where i found it. It had 180k miles on it but looked like it was in real good shape ran drove everything worked on it

 

so then i decided i wanted to dump the 305 for a 355 well that didnt get it either here is a pic of the 355 in the car


so i decided to build a 406 its at the machine shop now should get it back next weekend. Im also going to run a t5 behind it i know before everyone starts the t5 wont take alot of abuse but until i can get the money for a t56 its what i got. So i pulled the 355 sold it and decided i was going to paint the engine bay black because im not set on what color im going to paint the car yet.

That seems like a good score to me, $1600 for a clean looking v8 vert. Any rot on the car or under it?

 

the only rot in the car is the drivers side floor by the rocker

 

looks like a nice find for the price. even tho i dont care for the later 3rd gen noses. good job

 

I got my motor back and got it together. Should have it in and hooked up this weekend hopefully getting it running by next weekend here are some pics of the motor

 

it should be a blast to drive when finished
