what the inside of a top is supposed to look like?
i have an 88 vert and the top is just the outside material is it supposed to have a headliner and sail panel covers? anyone with a factory vert have any pictures?

The convertible tops didn't have a headliner until 89.

My 89 does not have it, I thought it was 1990 The liner can be installed on a 1989, but it was not there.

Sorry, I thought they stared it in model year 89. My 90 has one and all 90's were made before 01/90, so in a sense, I'm right. lol

Yes, in a way you are. I also had an 89 RS 'vert and it didn't have one either. Actually I'd like to see one. When I need a new top I think I'd like a liner.

My 89 rs had one...until it started disintegrating and i just pulled it off.....dunno if it was the stock top tho.also my 89 has an 88 top.
