My top release cable was no longer holding the top down in the back so I purchased a new one. Everything looks great but the 3 little white clips that hold the line in place as it goes across didn't come with the new one. I tried salvaging the old ones but you know how 23 year old plastic does. How did you solve this? I think the line is 3/16 so i was thinking just find some 3/16 plastic clips but they aren't as easy to find as I thought. Anyone have any experience here?

All the ones ive seen including my own were black.Ive been able to salvage a few of them but they usually break as they are being pulled off

 

Good to know I am trying to keep the car completely stock and as original as possible so at least no one can fault me lol...

 

I agree, I've seen both white and black clips used. Those clips will look fine.
