Great day for top down cruisin

60+ degrees here in Colorado Springs and had errands to run soooo... Lowered the top on the 88 IROC Z and ran all my errands with a smile on my face and the wind in my hair. Great day to have a convertible-and in January no less.

Re: Great day for top down cruisin

About 70 here in Arkansas. Didn't get a chance to take the car out though. Probably will tomorrow since the temp will be around 74 and I have an errond to run. Cold and icy on the East coast; no fun.

Re: Great day for top down cruisin

Lucky dogs! Here in Ohio temps in teens and 20's, snow on the ground, and
freezing rain this morning. I've got 2 convertibles and 1 T-top car in the
garage. And the absolute worst thing- I just woke up from a nightmare-
I was driving a Mopar! I guess that's what happens from going mad from
cabin fever!

Re: Great day for top down cruisin

Yup I remember those Ohio winters, lived there lots of years and the cold goes right through you when you get some wind coming off the Great Lakes. We are just enjoying the warm few days here in Colorado while they suffer out on the easy coast. At least when it is real cold we still get lots of sun here in Colorado Springs. Stay warm

Re: Great day for top down cruisin

After about a week of very cold temps its going to be 60 plus here for 2days. When the roads dry out I'll be out and about with the TTops out for next 2 days

Re: Great day for top down cruisin

80% chance of rain for today but will pass early then 74 again. I put on corvette valve covers and have developed an oil leak now. I may get some gasket maker and line both sides of the gasket since I won't take them off untill I find some heads for the new motor. I bought some AFR 220 (bare) in a package deal but they are much too large. I will trade them or sell them. May use the pro comps or the 113 vette heads. It will be a 9.6 to 1 350 ZZ4 cruiser motor.

Re: Great day for top down cruisin

The saying in Colorado is... If you don't like the weather, wait, it will change! It was single digits the week before Fivestar got to drop the top, and today we woke up with snow and mid 30's for temp! Gotta love CO!

Re: Great day for top down cruisin

I would like to move to Montana, Wyoming or Colorado for the hunting. Not many cops in Montana or so I hear. Don't know about the other states in that area.

Re: Great day for top down cruisin

Got to put the top down and go to Walmart before the Super Bowl today and get lots of stuff to clog up some arteries. Had to wear a jacket though. Great game, you gotta love any game that comes down to less than a minute to go to see who gets a huge ring and a hundred thousand dollars a person. Plus, one brother gets to rib the other brother the rest of their lives. Every time he sees his brother wearing it he will just be sick.

Re: Great day for top down cruisin

I've been out twice with the top down. Can't complain about the weather here, except for the wind and rain.I've been pretty lucky though considering I just got the car last month.
