Looking for a 3rd brake light for 1987 camaro convertible. It is a 20th anniversary edition and the light is in the spoiler. It contains only 2 bulbs. From what I can tell the GM part# is 12390829. It is 9" wide, 1-1/4" tall, and the screw holes are 7" apart. The bulbs have melted the plastic lens on the one I have. Anyone know where I can find one or have one for sale? Thanks in advance.

 

Good luck, do a search. You'll find that your HMSL was used on a FORD.

Never did get one. I have looked at all the threads and none are concrete as to which model of Ford. Have looked at 3 junk yards here and definitely not a crown Vic that I found. Maybe the country squire....but no junk yard I have found has one. Looked on ebay and GM shows discontinued????????????

Went on Ebay and found a 85 86 87 88 89 licoln town car third brake light, Item number 171012679370. Looks nothing like what I need. Still looking.

Its NOS and the Ford box says : E6F2-13A613-B Lamp Assy

Can anyone verify yes or no on this??? I know its a tough question.

 

I say no. The shape is wrong, and the size is wrong. Its too small.
