One of the pivot bolts that holds the skeleton and mechanical assembly of the top frame on my 89 has sheared off. It is one of the bolts with a torx head, it starts out large and then has a smaller diameter that threads into one of the arms. It will have to be easy outed that's no big deal. What is a big deal is chevy says the bolt is discontinued. I have never even seen a vert in the junkyards around here. I can take a pic of it if necessary I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Of course also, the top will not go up correctly now.

One of my bolts just sheared off and I am in the same position. Does anyone have any more of these bolts?

The top has two of bolts that have sheared off on the driver side.

I ended up getting one of these "shoulder" bolts with an Allen head from Fastenal. Quite affordable and I got 2 extras incase they were to ever snap again.
Here is a photo of the bolts that I need. {2}
I also need the 2 shoulder washers per bolt also.
No photo of the washer / do you need a photo of the washer to.
I ended up finding a good replacement to the torx bolts. I went to Fastenal and got some allen head shoulder bolts at a fraction of the cost of the GM bolts. Less than $2 a piece, I think.
