trunk pull down wiring

trunk pull down wiring

im looking for so help with my pull down. quick overview...im doing the full 4th swap, ls1, dash ect all wiring. so im looking to find out which pull down wires go where. theres is only 3 but would like to know where there go or what they connect to ie power ground ect

can any of you guys help??

On the 3rd gen motor assembly you have a blue wire which is a constant hot, a black which is ground and a white which goes to the cargo area light(not used on some cars). Ground on your motor should already be screwed to the body, just need to find the constant hot on the 4th gen wiring and run the white to the cargo light if you have one.

Edit: You'll have to run the same constant hot to the other wire of the cargo light. It grounds through the latch switch on the white wire.

are the wires on the trunk side for the 3rd brake light?
