Looking to purchase a 1991 Firebird convertible v6 that has been cloned to a 1989 Turbo trans am convertible. Everything was stripped out of the damaged 89 tta and converted into the 91. When I say everything, I mean every last piece that was special on the tta down to the brakes, 9in, engine, trans, complete interior including wiring harness. Car just lacks the convertible top to be complete. Any suggestions on a value? I also have the option to buy the 89 tta donor car with title.

I don' have any pics but it is in near perfect condition. Engine was rebuilt before install. Like I stated earlier. It lacks a new top. Everything else is new or restored.

 

If I wanted a TTA, I'd probably give 12-15k for the car. Without pics, a bit tough.

Unfortunately, without the pedigree of the paperwork and matching VIN, its provenance is always suspect and a long story. Those are my 2c. from buying cars. Please note, this is still higher than I'd think a white 1989 GTA 5.7L car would sell for, FWIW, and factors the "rare" parts.

 

Thank you. What would the donor car be worth? Basicall a rolling shell that needs frame rail replaced. No rust anywhere t top car.
