Vert rear speaker question
In the process of restoring my 87' Z28 vert and I'd like to know
what size rear speakers were used from the factory. I appreciate any help.

I think they are 5.25 from the factory, and there is next to no space behind that panel to add anything bigger due to the convertible chassis / body bracing that was added. I just posted up what I did to mine, added 6.5" infinity reference speakers, but I top mounted them.

Ok, I'll be curious as to see what you did. When I purchased my car there was a cutout for a 6x9. However, I went through many sets of 6x9s before I found a ultra slim depth speaker. But, I am not happy of the fact that they protrude an inch outward and want to see what was actually used originally.
