Tonneau Question
My tonneau is faded in some areas and Im thinking of painting it using Duplicolor. Anyone ever try this or suggest something else? Not liking how it looks. Thanks guys!

I have never done it, but I don’t see why not..
On my 87 my hood louvers were burnt and had spots on them so I took them off, sanded and did a coats of Krylon (I believe) letting them dry in between. I made sure to let them dry and did super even coats until they dried and looked flawless. I had the car 5 years after that and it was a daily driver and the louvers looked perfect ever since I had painted them.
I know you may get some paint recommendations for the vinyl because it is a little different than the plastic louvers. I think if you do it carefully and use the right paint it would come out perfect and last a long time.
I think the paint some guys have used on interior parts would work, maybe do a search and test the paint out on some other throwaway vinyl object first to see how it comes out..
