1990 Convert
Was told I had one rare car? 1990 Iroc lb9 305tpi, automatic, blue, I bought this car from the original owner who bought bought it from the chevy dealer in Houston, Tx. This car has never been molested. Till this past Saturday it hasn't been out of the shop but 5 times in 5 years. It was garaged kept its whole life. Can someone give me more info on this car?

Re: 1990 Convert
IROC verts in that (presumed excellent) condition are rare and worth some money. Does it have very low miles? That would make it very valuable. Why for the life of me, they don't balance the wheels from the inside? Those pound-on edge weights are terrible.

Re: 1990 Convert
It now has 126000 on it. It was bought as a daily driver it has a few light scratches and a few little flaws like the steering wheel cover. The couple I got it from are in their 70's now.

Re: 1990 Convert
1990 was the last year of the IROC and not many convertibles were made
Only 1,294 convertibles I believe. A 5-speed would be even more rare and desireable.
The Miles bring the value down to earth. If it was under 50k miles it could be one of those eBay cars people ask ridiculous prices for. It’s worth a fair value.
Paint looks good from the pics. It’s a desirable color.
Missing some wheel caps and I’m sure with the mileage the wheels could use some refurbishing. If it were mine I might order those Hawks 17” wheels.
If you put up a pic of the RPO codes in the console you can find out more about what other options it has including the rear end gears, suspension, etc..
If it’s clean and not rusty underneath the miles don’t matter so much.. Especially if the motor was maintained and any leaks fixed over time..
Nice Vert!

I concur w/88Iroc - 1294 Iroc verts made in late 1989, the legal use of the IROC name expired first day of 1990 Jan 1.
