Where's the best place in our cars to install a tranny cooler?

Where's the best place in our cars to install a tranny cooler?

Iv'e got a 82 firebird and recently had the 700r-4 rebuilt,I asked the guy who rebuilt it to install a hayden transmission cooler i had got,But he couldn't figure out where to put it,or so he says Does anyone know a good place to install these in our cars,and is it hard to do?-Thanks

Tell him to install install it about a foot up his ***.

Do you really trust this guy? Anyway...mount it in the airstream in front of the radiator and the A/C condensor...and make damn sure that your fans and airdam are intact and working...

in front of the condensor.. but you might have to loosen the supports that are in front of it.. and maybe even put some spacers (washers) to give room for the cooler to fit under the cross supports.. you will understand what i mean when u try and install yours..
