Anyone running one of these?
Any problems with it?
They're supposed to run abt 20 degs cooler, but I recently saw a post reporting they have a short lifespan.

Also, heard a stock water pump can be modified to be a high flow.
Anyone know anything abt that?

I've got one and I like it. It did drop my temp and what I also like about it is that it is rebuildable if needed. There are better pumps out there, like stewart, but for the price it's not a bad pump. I've also had it on the car for 3 yrs.

I've also had one for a few years. Nothing wrong with it, but go ahead and get a Stewart.

By attaching a thin solid plate to the back side of the stock stamped out impeller it's supposed to increase the impeller efficiency and make it pump a lot better. I've seen the kit in summit, it uses rivets to attach the plate. I made one myself at work and it does help cooling. You can also port the casting out to match the gaskets for improved flow.

Everything. Seriously, there isn't a better mechanical waterpump company out there!
They have 4 stages. The 1st is stock housing but all new parts with tighter colerances. 2nd stage is the big jump, aluminum housing, all around it's like the edelbrock pumps but better .
The prices are great so if somebody could come up with a reason not to us them over anybody else it would probably look like, "well I got a really good deal on this from a friend...." else, get a Stewart.
