Bad Overheating!

I just started drving my camaro on the road a couple of days ago and when I really push on it you can hear the coolant start to boil. It doesn't smoke or anything you can hear it boil, and feel the loss of power because of the engine running too hot. This is what I have done to fix this problem:

1. I installed a manual fan switch so the fan runs all the time.

2. Drained and Flushed out the radiator.

3. Bought engine ice coolant and mixed it properly with water.

What do you think the problem is? I am going to go get some 2in thick header wrap today and see if that will help. Do you guys have any ideas?

The same thing used to happen to me. I put in a new thermostat, 160*. I was also missing the air deflector under the radiator so I bought a new one of those for $40 from the chevy dealer. My car used to run @ 220* to 230* all the time but now it barely gets up to 200* in 90* weather

When the engine is cool check and see if the radiator is full, if not, start the car with the cap off and slowy add fluid to the radiator. this will get any air out of the system, some people forget to do this after a flush and refill. If that is not the problem get your coolant system checked to see if you are holding pressure. You may have a small leak that will not make enough steam for you to see it, also pressure check you cap. Finnally you want to check to make sure you fans are coming on. Remove you fan relays and and sort the power to the fan wire and the fan should come on, if not you will have to figure out why. Just things to look at.
