Trans temp?

What should the trans temp be for normal driving? Also where is a good place to install the tempreture sender for an aftermarket guage. Somewhere that doesn't require drilling would be good.

Different stall converters will run at different temps. As far as a sender, they usually specify installation in the pan, like where your drain plug is.

Of course, that is provided you have a drain plug, like in an aftermarket pan.
