Hey guys. The previous owner of my 87 iroc tpi, must have done some rigging on the fans (dual). The primary fan is running all the time, as soon as you turn the ignition on. The secondary fan doesn't come on at all. well it's been over heating while sitting in traffic. So I started digging into it and I found that the relay has been bypassed. I'd really like to return it to it's original state. But I can't find a wiring diagram of the relay. And I would like to know, at what temp are the fans supposed to kick on?

Your primary fan will come on at about 230*. Your secondary fan wont come on until you turn on your AC. I find it much better to have both fans come on at the same time. Tying both relays together is easy. However, you might want to get your fans to turn on at a much lower temperature, which is something you can program when burning chips.

Thanks for the reply.
Where is the second relay located. One of my relay plugs has been rigged. There's a jumper wire connected to it. to make the primary fan run all the time. I'd like to get 2 new relays and temp sensors. Then tie both fans to a switch that I can manually operate when I need to, but will also function the way the factory intended.
Any advice?
