Help,,,Stat Help...Car runs to hot at track

I know that i am going to do my cooling fan mod today, but what thermostat should install, its my daily driver and it runs to hot, usually runs around 220, i dont know what stat is in it now, but i gotta run to advance in a few hours to put a new one in, what stat should i put in..thanks

Hey dude but 220 is not hot, that is very much normal. To get better performance go with a 170 stat and a lower temp fan switch. You should then be running alittle cooler like around 180 to 190. Good luck
