Engine getting real hot what to do?

you should get the thermostat checked out maybe it is not opening when it should. also check the radiator to see if the lines are not clogged if so get the radiator flushed or get a new one.

The radiator in it is new also, replaced with the thermostat.

ah, the air dam is cracked in two places, but it is still on, but bent in a few spots.

Pressure check the system for leaks and check or replace the radiator cap. Also make sure your fan is working if it heats in stand still traffic.

Yea the fan does work. Is there anyway to make it go on earlier then around the 220^ mark?

Get a lower temperature switch from Summit, Jegs, anybody or wire it up manual like mine. If it is getting very hot you have another problem though. Go get a new radiator cap, fill the radiator and look for the leaks, they will be there.
