How do you install a B&M supercooler?

I bought the B&M supercooler for my 700R4 tranny. It does not come with any hoses or fittings. My tranny has two aluminum lines coming out of it. One went to the bottom of the radiator and one to the top. The cooler has two holes for fittings. What goes where? Pics are great if possible. Thanks

you need to take off the top or bottom fitting that goes to the radiator.this line will need to go to your cooler and the other fitting from your cooler back to the radiator. i think your cooler has 1/2 pipe thread, you'll need to adapt it to hose barbs and use the right hose, hi temp not vacuum. you can push the fitting back on your steel lines and push the hose over the flare and clamp it. there are lots of ways to do it. or you can run -6 braided line like i did. it's expensive tho.

There were no directions in the box or hardware.

There are quite some good threads to search on this issue. Transfixleo and pro-built have done a good job in saying what needs to be done. Transfix feels you should hook the cooler up direct to the tranny and not use the little tank cooler in the radiator. Most people want you to mount the cooler in front of your condensor. The hardpart is gettting aall of the fitting to make it a nice clean job. I have seen people clamp hoses to the 8 mm hardline and go direct into the cooler. That was the simplest although I doubt very safe.

Can you use regular heater hose for the tranny line insted of that aluminum line? Im thinking that this will make it flow better.

Aluminum pipe will flow just as good as hose provided diameters and restritions are kept the same size as the ended cooler size. (openings).

I just installed a super cooler on my truck. What I did was cut the hard lines off six inches back from the radiator. Then installed 5/16" compression fittings that adapted to 3/8" NPT pipe thread. From there I used high pressure braided line to plumb to the cooler, which is in front of the condensor. While I was at it, I installed a temp sensor manifold in the line coming from the tranny.
