Will a V6 radiator work with a 350?

Will a V6 radiator work with V8? I have noticed the top outlet on the other side. Would I have to get a custom radiator hose? Will it cool enough for a 350?

Thanks in advance

I dont know but mabey there is a reason they ask you what type of engine when you go and buy a new radiator. Dont take the cheap way out cuz your car will not cool properly. But are you using a old radiator from a V-6 to drop into a car with a 350? Well as long as the connections hook up the same and its not cracked and you keep it filled up then i would say try it until you get the cash to get one that is made for that engine. Hope that helped

Well, I was just wondering b/c I have a V6 parts car with one, and my originally V6 car didn't have motor, tranny, or in this case... a radiator! And I am doing the 350 swap. so I guess I'll just have to go to Skippy's (the local junkyard) Monday and look for a V8 car with a radiator.

Thanks for your help!

NO it wont work.
i've tried before, when i wento from v6 crap to V8, neither with 305 nor 350 (done them both)
it will fit the compartment, but the upper hose (looking from the pilot seat) on V8 is on the left, on v6 is on the right. and some other diff's.
Fernando.
