Pulled A/C out, want it back in...

I pulled the A/C compressor out of my '86 IROC 8 years ago and plugged the hose lines with tape and stored it in a shed. I want to put it back in, but I have concerns with the compressor having internal corrosion after long storage without charging the lines with nitrogen. Has anyone had experience with this. I just don't want to go through the trouble of installing new o-rings, accumulator, hoses and charging with R12 ($$$) and later finding out that the compressor is stuck because of internal corrosion. A/C experts please advise.

Turn the clutch and see if it spins free with no binds ...(not the pulley the clutch)

If it was my car I would got to a local parts store and get a 134-A retro kit .. (30-45dollars)wich will have the fittings and oil to do the job.

Don't USE R-134a, it sucks, use R-12, or R-414B. Buy a new compressor, don't buy rebuilt. A new one is only 100 dollars more but will last twice as long or longer then that rebuilt crap.
