Best cheap water pump for 92 383

Hey guys ive been looking for a good water pump for my new 500horse 383 stroker. (unless yall think the stock rad and stock water pump will keep it cool).

I saw some in summit for around $90 that are 30% flow over stock.. (midden pumps). Its kind of hard to figure out which ones i need for a 92 with serpentine belt...

Anyway is there any point in getting a better than stock water pump with the stock radiator? Any ideas? someone had recommended some stage 2 pumps that were nearly $200. I hate to spend that much on just a water pump.

They flow a lot better than stock. You might want to go to the web site and check out the stats. Also, you might not want the stage 1 for what your running. You might want to get the stage 2, it flows more and is aluminum. Check out their site, you'll get any and all info that you need.

Perhaps the stage 2 would be better, but i just hate to spend that much money when i have a stock radiator. Probably be better spent in that.

If it were me, I'd do it anyways. Also, it will work with the stock radiator but I'd also replace that, when the money becomes available of course. Especially since you live in TX. I know that the summers can be like they are here in AZ, brutle!
