A/C Delete box, wiring Q

The wiring is different from the non A/C to the having A/C... obviously.

A/C: There is a relay that I think controls the A/C Silver Canister... and a clip that goes on the box onto 4-5 prongs if you will. Plus the power and ground to the fan.

Non A/C: Blower power and ground... and only a 3 prong clip.

Do I need to splice in and use the old style wiring for the non a/c box... or will the pronged plug plate (which attaches with 2 screws) come off and just plop back into the non a/c box?

Just a little curious before I start hacking stuff up. Thanks!

The relay goes to your blower motor. Whenever the blower motor is on high it goes through the relay not the resistor block that is on the side of the A/C box with the prongs sticking up. You should be alright with taking the resistor block off and putting it on the other box.

The resistor block went onto the new box fine and everything works great and looks AWESOME. Curious though... all the wiring harnesses that i've seen on the SC's without A/C don't have that relay in the wiring there that I can see... Is it just in another spot on the car?

On non AC cars, you only have 3 blower speeds instead of 4, so the high speed relay is not there.
