be cool

alright so my new radiator just came in. i have heard from people to run a tranny cooler if youve got a higher stall, as i do. but do you guys think it needs it cause my be cool rad has one built in?

Yes, those coolers in the radiator are not all that efficient. Just think about it. The hot coolant flows next to where the hot trans fluid is trying to get cool. Even with a Be Cool radiator I imagine you will still see about 180*. I would run an external cooler even if my trans was stock. You can pick one up at your local parts store, you do not need any of the fancy ones from Jegs or Summit. They are the same. Good luck.
