Hot!!!

Hello everyone, im nre to this thread.

My questions are: as you can read in my sig. I have a 87 Camaro TPI system in my 1995 YJ. The motor itself runs around 180 degrees. But the Hedman shorty hedders radiate alot of heat. Melting wire wrap as far away from the hedders themself as 6 inches. Could this be from running rich? The fix?

It also will not idle on its own until after i keep it running for a little while. What do you think?

Thanks
Chad

That is what i figured. I did all the leg work putting it in the Jeep and now i have a guy that is going to hook up the ALDL and go over it with a fine tooth comb. Thanks for the opinion.
