ware is the coolent temp sensor wire???

ware is the coolent temp sensor wire???

hey guys i found out why my temp gage doesnt work teh wire is snipped off at the sensor and i can not find ware it hooks up at the fire wall can soem one please post a pic of the area ware i should find the hook up for the wire on the fire wall i know its just one singal metal wire but i cant find it at all of course i havent looked real hard but i need to no the area to look in.

my car is an 83 z28 lg4 305 with an auto if that helps at all all my othe rgages work but the temp one and i want it working cause i dont want to over heat my car and not no it.

Not sure if mine would be the same as yours since I've got an L98, but mine is located between the first and second spark plugs on the drivers side. There's a small sensor sticking out with a flat topped 'mushroom' style fitting there. I made my own clip out of an electrical connector. Works just fine now.

It's a green wire in the same harness as the one which runs to your headlights.
