Well this is wierd. I bought my car a few weeks ago, has a new (reman.) a/c compressor on it. Its the 2ns one from this place, first one cracked the guy told me.
So a few days after I have the car my A/C looses all refrigerant, and my fan fuse blows.
I replace the hose and was gonna put a new (used) compressor in. Got the old one out, went to my friends garage to get the used one, realize its V-belt and not serpentine.
Ok so I decide to put the old one back in for now, frustrated and out of curiosity today I decided to recharge it to see what it did. So I did. and ITS RECHARGED!
How? Why? did it blow it all out before, and not now. there are no visible cracks on it that we saw when we had it out. there was green coolant looking stuff on the bracket.
Before it blew out the compressor would kick on and off constantly, now it stays on like it should
