radiator leak? where the hell is it?
Well, I have noticed that every few weeks, I need to add a little (about 1 inch or so) bit of water to the coolent system. I don't see any leaks or drips anywhere, or see anything that looks like it's water stained.
Is this common? is there a place on our cars that is prone to leaking? Or is this just normal "burn off" or something? I'm in Phoenix Arizona by the way. (HOT temperatures) could that just be it?
Thanks!

How often is overheating an issue fro you. Also are you keeping your reservoir at the proper lever, not too much or too little. It is possible that you may be leaking some without even noticing it (car wont overheat) but if your temp is high enough.

I always put the water in when it's cool, and fill it up to the "cool" line.
What exactly is over heating? I think mine gets up past 200 regularly, but the fan doesn't click on till a ways past 200.

Yeah. About every 2 mos or so, you gotta add something. Take a look at this link, and watch the video.

It could also be a blown head gasket. The head gasket could have a tiny rip near the edge of the cylinder wall causing coolant to be drawn into the combustion chamber and being burned with the air fuel. This would be why there are no visible leaks and also, since the rip is so small the engine would still run normal.
Do a compression check on each cylinder to see if they hold pressure.
A properly maintained cooling system should never have to be topped up every few weeks.
