Radiator/Tranny cooler combo?

Anyone have any personal experience with replacing their stock radiator? Mine sprung a leak where the plastic clamps to the aluminum, JBweld fixed it for about a week and it leaks again. Car never overheated and the radiator leak was up top, so I had enough to drive on, but I want to get a new one.

I'm not dishing out 700$ for a custom fit Be Cool. I've seen some Summit/Jegs 1 piece aluminum ones at a decent price. Anyone end up replacing stock and hooking up the tranny to it's own cooler? Location?

Are those summit radiators junk?

thnx

radiatorbarn.com For 130 bucks you can have a 3 CORE radiator that fits in the stock mounting place...You MAY have to call them and ask for the three row core because some thirdgen apps only list a 2 row core...

I have run/still RUN a very large tranny cooler...I run it in front of the radiator...It attaches to the radiator by using the draw throuch clips and spacers...EASY install... Its as WIDE as the radiator and about Half as tall...CANT remember the brand.

It would be EXCESSIVE on a stock tranny BUT Im using a turbo 400 with a transbrake and small converter so a large one was necessary.
