Coolant Fan won't turn off

I have to dual fan setup on my 90 TA. The main fan (passenger side) runs all the time. I can remove the key, leave the car and it runs. The ONLY way to stop it is by disconnecting the battery. Even if I leave it overnight in the cold, when I reconnect the battery the fan runs.

The Relay maybe?
Does the relay have power when key is out?

All help appreciated...

Or someone wired the fan to run all the time...

Yes, the relay has a constant hot so you may want to tap it and see if it goes off. Or try to swap the prim. fan relay with the aux. fan relay and see if it changes which fan is on at all times. Just my thoughts on this...

No one has ever messed with my TA, so the wiring was not the culpit. I ran out got a relay, and what do you know.. Problem solved.
Thanks for the heads up on the hot lead 92z. That made the difference.
