95 LT1 installed no heat help me please!
ok my LT1 rules, nuff bout that.
i am useing the stock 92 heater control valve, and it is hooked up right.
my question has 2 parts:
a.) the nipple on the valve that points to the driver's side, do i cap it off or does it go somewhere?
b.) if the answer to that is ok for what i am doing then it leads to this. the hose coming from the radiator to the control valve is cold. it is hooked up to the nipple on the radiator that is under the cap. is this right?

nope, i mean the one that used to go to the intake on the TPI motor. i DO have the vaccum hooked up. any other ideas?
the two nipples on the back passenger side of the plenum near the regulator on the TPI intake? One of those is disconnected? I;m not sure how you'd go about it with an LT1 but I think the LT1 has similar nipples for vacuum routing on the drivers side of the plenum. I guess just look at a vacuum diagram for an Lt1 and see what you can do. Do your power brakes work? if they do then it can't be a vacuum issue and I tried

ok i have confused you by useing the word nipple.
i am refering to the 3 coolant lines running to the heater control valve.
1 goes to and points at the firewall
1 goes to a outlet on the radiator that is located under the radiator cap, and on the valve it also points to the firewall
1 points at the drivers side of the motor, it went to the intake with the old 92 TPI motor, but now i have a 95 LT1 an i dont think i have all this hooked up right cuz i have no heat.
which hose bib on the control valve goes where?

OOOHHH, my bad lol. see i told you a pic wouldve helped! yeah, that nipple is a feed from the TB coolant line. I don't know how the LT1s have it routed. it used to come out of the block, and into the TB then to the HCV. perhaps it comes off the waterpump???

wett thats what i was thinking, so i hooked it to the nearest outlet on the water pump. it has 3 avaiable, and it kinda worked. it wouldnt heat the inside of the car when it was moving, only when it idled. so i assumed that was the wrong one or wrong idea

i did do the TB bypass, but the coolant still has to go to the heads so i didnt use that conection. so are you thinking maybe i should use the conection on the pump in the drivers side? where can i look up a diagram?
