Need help identifying part........

I am experiencing a coolant leak in my '92 RS (3.1L), and need help with identifying a part. There is a valve of some sort which extends from the front of the intake manifold, just below the thermostat housing, and feeds coolant to my throttle body. It also has a hose which connects to the heater control valve. It is obviously corroded, and is leaking coolant onto my serpentine belt. I do not know what this part is called, and when I spoke to the guys at four different parts stores, as well as two GM service techs, they could not tell me what it is. It doesn't look terribly expensive, and I would like to avoid the cost of having it replaced at a shop. Anyone know what this is called, and are there any special cautions/proceedures I should be aware of when replacing it? Thanks.
