fan not working

Hey all i have a 92 camaro that is over heating. The fan works. But not getting power to it.I found the relay for the fan and put hot wire from the battery and it kicked on.So I know the wiring is fine from relay to the fan.i all so tried pluging that wire harness into the other relays still did not work.So wht should i do next.Cooling temp senor?Someone told me the thermostat but i did not think that had anything to do with the fan turning off and on.Its going above 220.Thnks for the help.

Its not the thermostat, thats for sure. What do are fan switchs kick on at again, I cannot recall, I think it may be higher than 220. What I would so is ground the fan switch wire, and see if that turns it on, if it does your fan switch is bad, if it doesn't its probably a wireing problem somewhere.

well i put a new sensor today and thermastat tried a relay nothing. But if i put a hotwire on the wire that plugs into the relay the fan kicks on.So i know its from the relay back.about to just wire it up to a toggle switch.

In the passenger side head above the starter, you need to get it from the bottom.

I am kind having the same problem but i just fixed it,i just don't know if the fan is supost to kick on when i turn the ac on.The fan works fine by itself but if i turn the ac on nothing happens.Any ideas?

If your car is like mine the fan turns on at 235 thats why i am getting a fan switch from jegs that works at 180 and off at 195.About the fan relay you will have for wires coming to it.RED,BLK/RED,GRN/WHT,TAN.With the ignition on check for power on the red and the other black and red,if you have power on those maybe your problem is other.....
