my fan has a mind of its own.

I have a 91rs tbi 5speed. and the fan is nuts. i have replaced the temp switch. and the fan motor. this is what it dose, if the car gets over the (222* i think) temp it turns the fan on. then the damn thing never goes of even when i turn off the car pull the key and walk away. the fan will run till it uses all the batts. juice. any ideas???

check the fan relay?

The relay is on the drivers side inbetween the fender and the brake on the firewall. I don't have a tpi/tbi setup, but a pic I have shows that the relay is in the center of the three relays.

YEP,the relay is probably sticking. You may be able to clean the contact points & spray some brake cleaner on it.That might make it work again. If not replace it maybe.
