Cooling Demons....Again
I just would like to thank everyone for the great advice, I was given about my cooling problems. This weekend I will be replacing my Stat with an 180' stat, and checking the water temp with a thermometer, just in case my water temp gauge isn't accurate. My AIR DAM is intact, but is perfectly straight, 90' angle to the ground. I measured the ground clearance between my front bumper and the pavement, it is 6 1/2 inches.
Does anyone know if the AIR DAM should be angled towards the front of the car, and is my ground clearance correct or too low, I am wondering if that may be restricting air flow to the radiator.
Also my heater core has been by passed, I'll be calling the friend who sold the car to me and asking why it was done, can the smaller amount of coolant liquid affect the cooling temperature.
Thanks again for all your advice and help it is greatly appreciated.
