Radiator and Fans Installed

Hello,
Well I am in the process of updating my Camaro...again...for the fourth time...and I figured I would put up a pic of todays progress. I installed a Griffin radiator and Flex-A-Lite dual fans. I know there has been some concern of the fit of the griffin radiator. I have the big griffin with the dual 1-1/4" rows. It does fit without any cutting...but it's really really tight. So Tight in fact that I'm more than likely going to have to install the lower radiator hose before the radiator goes into the car. Note my car does have AC, I had to remove the factory rubber mounts and use thin rubber strips...but I'm fairly pleased with the results. Anyway I just finished working on it for the day...feel free to post any comments or questions.
-Mike

Looks nice!!

You bought the entire kit right? I like the way they designed the upper support. Clean install. Of course the lack of an engine could be throwing me off.... lol

Thanks for the compliment!
What you see in the pic is not a kit though. I bought the radiator and fans seperatley and made my own radiator retention/fan mount bracket.
I hope to have an engine filling up that space very soon!

That setup looks kick azz...Could you tell me how you made the brackets? Do you have specs? I also would like to switch my single fan to duals. What size are they? Part numbers? And, how did you hook the fans to the rad?

Thanks for the great reply!
It's a bit late in the evening tonight but tomorrow I will get some better photos of the individual pieces and write up how to do it. It's very simple, just takes a little attention to detail. The materials are readily available too. Again thanks for the compliment.
