Replaced temp sensor
So today I replaced my temperature sensor (the one in my thermostat, I have a carbed 305). The old one looked like CRAP... Probably hasnt been replaced ever. So I put in the new one, and I noticed that the new one has almost double the amount of thread. So I was not able to thread it must past the half-way point (where the stock one stuck in rougly). Will this cause me any problems?
Another thing, it said to solder the crimps to the wires, well I crimped them, but my solderer is non-operational at the moment lol, will this effect how my sensor works either? I feel very insecure of how this is going to work out, I needed to do this because i was thinking it is part of my problem with passing emissions. Any help is much appreciated, thanks

As long as it doesn't leak you'll have no problems with the threads. Crimping is fine until the connection starts to corrode in a few years time.
