I am not sure where the two lines that come from the oil filter go to. I am assuming they go to the oil cooler (the car is an L98), but I don't think they go directly to the cooler. I have been trying to figure out the vacuum lines and all of the lines going to and from the hot water valve. It looks like whoever had the car before me was trying to bypass the valve (not uncommon from what I have read on these boards). The problem is I don't think they accomplished much in doing so aside from the fact that the car has no heat and one of the hoses from the oil filter mount was just left floating. Both the Chilton's guide and the haynes guide don't really show where both of the lines that come out of the filter go to. Plus I have one line from my radiator (used to go directly to the throttle body - imagine it was routed like that in trying to bypass the hot water valve) that I am unsure about where it goes to. But if I figure out where that oil filter lines go then I everything should fall into place. Thanks all

 

okay so this is what I have pieced together, hope somebody can verify this.

2 hoses/lines that go into the oil filter mounting bracket.

- 1 hose should run to the radiator and mount just below the radiator filler cap.

- the other hose should runs into a line that goes from the hot water valve to the oil cooler???

Let me know if anyone can confirm or deny this.
