I know this hose goes to the radiator, but where does it go from there? Just purchased the car and trying to get all the bugs worked out.

Now that i looked a little harder it looks like it runs it to a metal line near the back of the engine bay. could it run to the tranny? if so i suspect that this is bad and could ruin my tranny. if this is the case would anyone know why it would be disconnected. think i saw smoke rising from my shifter plate earler hope it wasn' t the trannynow that i think about it could it go to my t.b.?

Do you have a better picture? I'm not familiar with the 86. Sorry, thought your green arrow was pointing towards the big hose at the bottom.

It's hard to tell what is what there. The only other rubber hose on mine is the heater core return, which should be the upper hose on your picture (under the reservoir return line). The tranny cooler lines were hard lines, not rubber, but there would be 2 under the heater core return. One coming from the tranny and one going to the tranny.
