How hard would it be to change the impeller on a pre-87 pump to a reverse flow water pump? What i need is a water pump with the assesory bolt holes and reverse rotation for a serp. setup? Also, whats the difference between a long and short water pump and what come standard on a 91 rs.

91 RS comes with long pump and reverse rotation. You should have no problem finding a replacement for yours. I'm assuming your looking for a higher flowing one, correct? I would not mess with swapping impellers.

 

I need to get one with alt bracket holes on the passenger side
