first i put my headers on and removed the wire off of the temp sensor and cannot remember which one it was that went on it i have one white connector green wire and one black connector green wire which one is it? also i tried both wires and now my temp gauge doesn't work with the black connector on the sensor when you start the car the gauge goes to max then drops to 0 with white connector there is nothing so the first question might help me trouble shoot second.

I'm assuming we're talking about the temp sender in the driver side cylinder head?? If so there should only be the one wire there that will fit the connector (the only other thing in that area would be the oxygen sensor connection)... Maybe a picture of the trouble area???
