Stroker Motor lunges Forward when A/C clutch engages
I have a strong stroker motor . Everytime the clutch from my A/C compressor clicks on my Motor lunges forward a mile or two an hour. Does any one elses car experience any thing like this ?

It could be responding to the additional load placed on the engine, but typically the engine bogs down a hair when the AC is engaged. Ive never heard of an engine speeding up in response to the AC cycling.

That's normal! Usually the ECM prom is programmed to increase the idle RPM when the AC is turned on. If U know an chip tuner, that can be changed, but I would not worry about it, unless it increases the idle rpm so much that the idle is way too high to deal with.

Thanks Zap , I had a feeling that was whats going on. It just becomes more aparent when theres a lil more torque involved I guess.. It just gets on your nerves if your on a long cruise..
