Water Pump Tips?

I am about to remove and replace my h20 pump any tips or suggestions to make it go smoother.

Torque specs for the bolts?
What type of sealant should I use on the bolts?
Can I ditch the paper gaskets and just use RTV or should I use both?

just the paper gaskets will be fine, for torque specs i would look in a chilton manuel...if you don't have one, i highly recommend it, it will be very useful

30 ft/lbs for the water pump. I use the Permatex copper rtv seal with the paper gaskets. Smear some on both sides and a dab on the bolt threads.
