just charged a\c...green oil..crap
charged my a\c at work the other day....held vaccum and everything..everything was GREAT...cold, oil pressure good..fans working condensor working good..then 2 day i lift the hood and see green oil all over the compressor down to the water pump..its a bad leak...bright green..got any ideas?? im hoping its maybe the tracer dye but its yellow...so..i really dunno...the compressor was real loud to at like 2 grand rpm.

The "green crap" / "green oil" would be your new freon dripping out of the system. I imagine the system is totally dry now.

accually..i ran it last night and this morning..its still cold. its not leaking anymore unless i use it..tomorrow when i go 2 work im gonna check it out.

It sounds like your compressor sneezed.
Your compressor has a pressure relief valve in the back. If the pressure got too high, it could have vented out the back. When a pressure relief valve blows, it spews refrigerant and oil like snot from a sneeze.
The greenish (snot) color is probably UV dye. Put a blacklight on it and see if it glows.
That's the only explanation I can thing of for a blowout leak, leaving spatter marks, and not completely discharging the system.
