Acidentally broke drivers side fan :(

While removing my stock radiator to replace it, I had to pull both of my fans back a little bit to cut the zip ties that were holding my tranny cooler to the front of my A/C condenser and going through the radiator.

Well as luck would have it, the bottom two mounts for the drivers side fan simply snapped and broke It wasn't really an option to remove the bottom 2 fan bolts because the Spohn steering brace was in the way of them and I didn't think I would need to after having done the passenger side zip ties and not having a problem. Damn old and brittle plastic

Anyway, I'm like dead broke and can't afford to repair it with the correct parts. My question is, will just the top bolt be suffcient or is the fan gonna suck it's self into my new radiator? From the looks of it and how it broke, the bottom 2 mounts will lay where they are suppossed to be and hold the fan from going anymore into the radiator, looks like the only problem would be the fan going towards the engine which it's not inclinded to do when running due to it's direction.

Does all this make sense to anyone? Do you think I'll be alright? Should I somehow try and figure out a way to mickey mouse it with zip ties in the morning or will I be just fine since there is enough left of the bottom mounts to hit the bottom of the radiator mount and keep the fan from hitting my new radiator? It's a brand new radiator so I'm thinking after writing this I'll take a look in the morning and see what I can rig....

Alex
