Dual Fans for LT1
Was wondering if anyone’s knows if the harness/plug on the 3rd gen Dual Fans is the same as the 4th gen Dual Fans? Cause I am going to be doing my LT1 swap soon and wondering if a 3rd gen Dual Fan setup would wire up without messy splicing? Or does anyone know if the 4th gen dual fan setup fit on our 3rd gen radiators without major modifications?

They mount different, but getting them to stay in place in a thirdgen is quite easy and doesnt require a whole lot of work. The connectors are also the same as I stated.

yes the lt1 fans work great. much better than the unshrouded 3rd gen setup. you can actually hear them working and see the temps drop. what i did was mount the lt1 setup upside down(at least vs if it was in a 4th gen) and modified a single fan upper bracket to make it work. if i have some time i'll get a pic up.

i swapped in a 4th gen radiator to make the fan install simple.
they clip on the factory mounts.
radiator hose change is a must afterwards.
