You mean other than a thirdgen?

Most if not all of the TPI Z28's and T/A's had dual fans. Those would be the best ones to get.

I have one sitting in my garage going in later this month.

Many of the TPI cars had dual electrics, but not all, especially in the mid-80's (I've seen a couple of TPI Z's with a single fan). At any rate, Azvolfan is correct. The duals are the way to go--and they are, of course, direct bolt-ins. Here's a link that might provide some installation options.

I put the fans from a 92 in mine, it's quite a simple swap, if you'd like to take a look, drop me a PM.

I have two Camaros, my 83 Z28 and my wifes 95, the radiators are different as are the way the fans mount. The 3rd gens mount to the car and the 4th gens mount to the radiator. It will take some mods either way, but from what I hear its simpler to do a complete 4th gen swap. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

P.S.
I do not consider zip ties a viable option. Build it right the first time or spend more to fix it later....
