WTF is that smell!?!?

Ok, i've had my TA for about a week or so... slowly cleaning it up. Going this thursday to have it registered and plates put on..

i know it has some cooling issues as it is throwing a trouble code, also there is a manual fan switch, and a ssensor somewhere needs to be replaced (the CTS)...

i'm smelling this like burnt vomit smell after driving... and i think i have a coolant leak somewhere. i'm going to have to check for leaks in places, but anyone ever smell this? i'm i'm guessing its coolant burning up somewhere...

thanks guys...

Well

Coolant smells sweet. So you probably have something dead or rotting in your vents.

hrmm... i smell it outside the car more though - and the car has been an inside the garage car for like 3 monthes at the least because the guy who had it before me didn't feel like working with it anymore...

i'm still leaning towards coolant - its a vomitous smell but it smells kinda sweet... hrmmm

I have to agree that something might be dead in it. Not uncommon for mice/rats to go in barns in the winter, proably found a nice hiding place. I have smelled coolant but never smelt like vomit. Time to flush the radiator out, no tellin what is in there. As long as there in no water in oil, worse case is a bad heater core, could be worse.
